Davey Lewis was built by John Addicot in 1960. The design is called little water sr. She is built of saw oak frames with ceder planking held with copper rivets and bronze bolts. She displaces approx. 6800 lbs and is powered by an older single cylinder Yanmar that's been fully rebuilt, with only about 12 hr. on it since. The boat is cat-ketch rigged with a bow sprit and small jib, gaffs on main and mizzen, keel stepped wooden masts. She's 26' lod, 32' loa, 8' beam, 3' draft. Down below she sleeps 2 in setee berths with a center line table. Accommodations include: chain locker forward followed by head with porta-pottie and counters and shelves port and starboard and small small sink to port; next are hanging lockers port and starboard, followed by settees; the galley is last on either side of the companionway with double doors under the ladder to access the motor, and there's also a large engine cover in the cockpit. The galley has a sink with manual pump, an ss ice box, and a spot for a stove, but one is not installed right now. She comes with almost all the equipment needed to go offshore and the boat can do it to.
